Nine mental-maths tricks built from two moves. Every lesson and every how? button is now an animated teacher: press ▶ Play and the columns fill in one digit at a time — "9 × 2 = 18 … write 6 as it is … 8 + 1, the carry, = 9" — with a pointing hand, a voice if you want one, and Ask me, which stops before each answer so the child types it first.
